   2D (Left Screen) Movement Panel Shortcuts

Description Shortcut Key Details
2D Offset selection {Ctrl-1}, {Ctrl-2}, {Ctrl-3}, {Ctrl-4} Selects one of the four 2D presets
Nudge {Arrows} 1) Select a part or group of parts and use the {Arrow} keys to move the current nudge distance in the direction of the arrow.
or…
2) Select the edge of the part and use the {Arrow} keys to move the nudge distance along the axis of the line you selected.  (The line you select can be part of a group.)   The Left/Right Arrows will move along the line axis, the up down will nudge perpendicular to the line axis.
Nudge 25x {Shift+Arrows} Holding down the {Shift} key while using the {Arrows} to nudge will move 25x the current nudge distance
Nudge Rotate {Ctrl + Left/Right Arrows}
Nudge Rotate 15° {Ctrl + Shift + Left/Right Arrows}
Horizontal {H} Select a line then tap {H} to make  it Horizontal
Vertical {Ctrl-H} Select a line then hold {Ctrl} and tap {H} to make it Vertical
Rotate 90° CCW {Ctrl + Up Arrow}
Rotate 90° CW {Ctrl + Down Arrow}
Bump Margin Hold {Alt} Hold down the {Alt} key while moving a part to activate the bump margin.  The bump margin uses the current 2D part offset.
Move a small part Hold {Shift} Holding {Shift} prevents accidentally selecting the edge of a part and going into “snap” mode.
Place a part inside a part Hold {Ctrl} Drag the edge of a part to the edge of a second part while holding {Ctrl} to snap the first part to the inside of the second part.  This snaps to the current “Part offset” value (which can be zero).
Align edges

1)  Set part offset = 0.00
2) {Ctrl} and snap to inside
3) Add {Shift} to slide part

1) Set the part offset to 0.00
2) Hold {Control} and snap the edge to the inside of a part
3) Add {Shift} then slide along the edge axis
Slide part along edge axis Hold {Ctrl+Shift} While holding {Ctrl+Shift} select a line and drag it.  This also works with a group of parts.

   3D (Right Screen) Movement Panel Shortcuts

Description Shortcut Key Details
3D Preset selection {0}, {1}, {2}, {3}, {4},{5},{6} Selects one of the six 3D presets.  The presets are not active until you snap two parts together.  Select {0} to clear the current part transform.
Backsplash {S} Creates a backsplash.  This command is not active until you snap two parts together.  The backsplash will take the nominal thickness of the slab it is placed on (left side).  It will self adjust if you move it onto a slab with a different thickness.
Buildup {B} Creates an edge buildup.  This command is not active until you snap two parts together.  The buildup is not dynamic.  You must first place the parts on a slab (left side) before creating an edge buildup to get the correct thickness.
Waterfall {W} Creates a waterfall (drop) edge.  This command is not active until you snap two parts together.
Reset parts { Ctrl -R} Resets the selected part(s) to their original position.  To reset a single part, pick the part then select Reset.   To do multiple parts, make a window around the parts in the left screen, then select Reset.
Lock parts {K} Locks a part in it’s current position so that it can not be moved.  To Lock a single part, select it on either side then select {K}.  To lock multiple parts, make a window around the parts on the left, then select {K}
Toggle Shading {L} Toggle shading of the parts.  This can be useful when building a 3D model to make it easier to see the model.  It should be turned OFF to do color matching.
Toggle part highlight { [ } Toggles the highlighting of snapped parts.  The part that moved is green, the base part is purple.
Toggle part edge { ] } Toggle the edge of the part.  Useful when you have an angle less then than 90° between two parts.
Orient {O} This rotates the part in 90° increments after two parts are snapped together.  There is no button for this command.
Dynamic Seam {D} Create a seam
Reserved Area {R} Create a reserved area
Move part along line axis {Ctrl+Shift} Moves the part along the selected line.  
Move texture on a small part {Shift} When trying to move the slab texture on a small part it might be diffucult to drag a texture instead of snap the part.  Add the {Shift} key prevents the selection of the part edge and entering snap mode.
Snap part to inside {Ctrl} Hold the {Crtl} while snapping to snap to the inside of another part.

   Left / Top toolbar buttons

Description Shortcut Key Details
Dynamic seam {D} Create a dynamic seam.  Opens the seam dialog box.
Reserved area {R} Create a reserved area (define remnant).  Opens the Reserved area dialog box.
Color Checker {M} Open the color chefker dialog.  Helps check for like colors.
Delete selection {Delete} Deletes whatever is currently selected.  Part(s) or slab.
Add Note {N} Opens the Notes dialog box.
Convert hole to part {Ctrl-Shift-C} Select the edge of a hole in a part, then use the shortcut to remove the hole and convert it to a part.
Open DXF Template {Ctrl+Shift-T} Opens the DXF Template dialog
Open Slab Manager {Ctrl+Shift-S} Open the Slab Manager to load slabs
Load slab by ID {Ctrl+Shift-I} Opens the Slab by ID dialog
Open Job Manager {Ctrl+Shift+L} Opens the Job Manager to load an existing job
Undo {Ctrl-Z} Undoes the previous moves.  There are unlimted undos.
Redo { Ctrl-Y } Redo the last undo
Group (left side only) { G } Makes a permanent group of the selected parts.
Un-group {G} Un-groups a permanent group of parts.
Pan screen {Left+ Right mouse} or {Spacebar + Left mouse} Pan the screen
Zoom {Double left click} Double left click on an entity, or a part to zoom to that entity or part.  Double left click in the screen background to “Zoom all”.
Rotate model (right screen) {Mouse wheel down} Rotates the model in the right screen
Rotate texture (right screen) {Right mouse} Rotates the texture in the right screen.  (this rotates the part in the left screen at the same time.
Rotate part (left screen) {Right mouse} Dynamically rotates the selected part(s) in the left screen
Move part (right screen) {Ctrl} While holding the {Ctrl} key, drag the part with the left mouse button.
Top view (right screen) {Ctrl-T} Places the model into the top view
Isometric view (right screen) {Ctrl-I} Places the model in an isometric view.

  Miscellaneous

Rotate model (right screen) {Mouse wheel down} Rotates the model in the right screen
Rotate texture (right screen) {Right mouse} Rotates the texture in the right screen.  (this rotates the part in the left screen at the same time.
Rotate part (left screen) {Right mouse} Dynamically rotates the selected part(s) in the left screen
Fit a Part or entity to the window {Double left-click} Double left-click your mouse on any part or entity to fit it to the window.  This works on both sides.
Fit all parts to the window {Double left-click} Double left click the screen background to fit all parts to the window.  This works on both sides.
Move part (right screen) {Ctrl} While holding the {Ctrl} key, drag the part with the left mouse button.
Top view (right screen) {Ctrl-T} Places the model into the top view
Isometric view (right screen) {Ctrl-I} Places the model in an isometric view.
Side view (right screen) {Ctrl-S} Places the model in the side view.
Show part orient arrows {P} Show the orientation arrows on the parts
